Orkney Springs, Va. is a tiny town located in Shenandoah County, the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Orkney Springs does not appear on most maps, but don't worry, it's easy to find! This charming resort town is within an hour's drive of Winchester (to the north) and Harrisonburg (to the south), and approximately 2 1/2 hours from the Washington D.C. and Richmond metro areas.

Traveling from the South:
Follow I-81 North to Shenandoah Caverns (Exit #269.) At the end of the off-ramp, turn right onto Caverns Road (Route 730) and travel .4 mile to a stop sign intersection. Take a left onto Old Valley Pike (Route 11) and travel 2.5 miles. Take a left onto Orkney Grade (Route 263) and travel another 13 miles to Orkney Springs.

Traveling from the North:
Follow I-81 South to Woodstock (Exit #283.) At the end of the off-ramp, turn right (west) on West Reservoir Road/VA-42 and travel approximately 13 miles to a stop sign intersection with Route 263. Turn right onto Orkney Grade (Route 263) and travel another 12 miles to Orkney Springs.
