For the second year in a row, the Cherryholmes family brings its unique bluegrass syle to the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival. The Cherryholmes' style consists of hard driving instrumental virtuosity and explosive vocal harmonies, featuring a mixture of carefully chosen classics and original songs written by members of the band. USA Today called Cia Leigh Cherryholmes, the family's elder daughter and principal songwriter, "bluegrass' most stunning new female singer." The New York Times calls the band "a mesmerizing presence."

Special guest, Drymill Road was the audience favorite at the first Barrels, Barbecue and Bands, held at Cave Ridge Vineyard in Mount Jackson in May.
