Seating
There are four seating sections at the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival - Lawn, Regular Pavilion, Preferred Pavilion and Reserved Pavilion.
Not all seating sections are available for every concert. Check the ticket price section of the concert description to see what options are available for the particular concert you plan to attend.
The Lawn
Blankets, low beach chairs and standard lawn chairs are all welcome on the lawn. The lawn area is divided into three sections - blankets in front, low chairs in the middle and regular lawn chairs in the back - to better accommodate everyone.
Regular Pavilion
(Symphony Programs Only)
The last fifteen rows of the pavilion are known as the Regular Pavilion section. The chairs are already set up for you. There are two sections divided by a center aisle.
Preferred Pavilion
(Symphony Programs Only)
The first nine rows of the pavilion are known as the Preferred Pavilion section. The chairs are already set up for you. There are two sections divided by a center aisle. The chairs in this section are more spacious than those in the Regular Pavilion section.
Reserved Pavilion
For this section, the entire pavilion is priced as one seating section and all seats are reserved starting at the front and coming to the back. The chairs are already set up for you. The entire pavilion is divided by a center aisle.
Picnics
Picnics are welcome and encouraged at the Festival! If you have lawn seats, you may picnic throughout the concert. If you have pavilion seats, you may picnic on the lawn before the concert and move into your pavilion seats once the concert begins.
